How to check you are on the official GemBet
Copies of betting sites borrow a real brand's name, logo and colours to collect logins and deposits. A few checks before you sign in or pay will catch most of them.
Use the GemBet Authenticator
GemBet's own site carries a tool called the GemBet Authenticator. Use it to check whether a website, social media page, agent username or phone number that claims to be GemBet is official, before you trust it.
Where to find it
- Open GemBet from a link you already trust, or from the button on this site.
- Scroll to the footer and find Info & Resources.
- Open GemBet Authenticator and follow its steps for the link or contact you want to check.
Signs a site or contact is not GemBet
- The address is close but not exact. An extra letter, a swapped word or a different ending. Read the address bar, not the logo.
- You were sent the link in a private message. Use a link you already trust instead, then check the one you were sent with the Authenticator.
- Someone asks you to pay into a personal account. Check that person with the Authenticator before you send anything.
- Someone asks for your password or a one-time code. Never share either, whoever says they are calling from.
- The offer is far bigger than the official one. The sports welcome is 150% up to SGD 500 in Singapore and 150% up to MYR 750 in Malaysia. Anything much larger in GemBet's name deserves a second look.
If you think you have found a copy, tell GemBet support through Contact Us in the same footer section, or the GemBet Help Centre.
18+ and within limits
Betting is for adults only. Decide your budget before kick-off, and stop when it is spent.
GemBet policies
GemBet's T&Cs set out time-outs, from 24 hours to two months, and self-exclusion. Its Responsible Gaming Principles cover setting limits and taking breaks, and its Protection of Minors Policy explains age checks. All three are linked in the footer of the GemBet site.
